Dwight Yoakam Signs Ten Foot Gibson Guitar For Austin Guitartown Project

Austin, TX (Austin GuitarTown) - Country Star, Dwight Yoakam, has joined the growing list of celebrities who are lending their name to support the Austin GuitarTown project. Recently in Austin , Dwight signed Hill Country Blues by local Austin artist, Leah Maxwell.

The public arts project will unveil all of the guitars at a special ceremony in November 2006. At the end of the project, the guitars will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefiting four Austin charities: Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM); Austin Museum of Art (AMOA); American Youthworks; and the Austin Children's Museum.
