NASHVILLE, TN. (IwebRadio.com) - Chris Young, Nashville Star 2006, with a record deal on RCA, is from a little town just outside Nashville, TN.. He has lived in Tennessee all his life, which is kind of rare for being a country artist. Most people move to Nashville, and he just kind of drive to it; it's about thirty minutes away from his home. He got into country music because of his grandfather. He got him listening to Marty Robbins, Lefty Frizzell, Hank Williams and people like that. It spurred him on to start listening to country music and create his own little niche for himself.

If he could change something about the music industry he answered: „If I had a chance to change one thing it would most likely be some of the people that I've met throughout the years that don't have deals, I would make sure that they got them, so often just coming up through the ranks in music, learning to play and sing getting my years in and doing my time. I've just met a lot of people that are extremely talented musicians that just haven't gotten a chance from a label that they probably should have so I wish I could change that.
Now you can meet Chris Young on https://www.IwebRadio.com , October 14th, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Central Time. He will talk about: What happened since Nashville Star and more.
