Nashville, TN (GrassRoots Promotion) - Country singer/songwriter Miko Marks continues to climb radio charts with "Mama", the 3rd release from her album Freeway Bound. The song comes after the previous successful releases of the title cut and the sassy "Kickin' Back".

"Mama" also marks the release of Miko's first music video, which stars her friend, R&B singer, Erykah Badu, in the title role.

The latest reports from GrassRoots Promotion of Nashville show "Mama" currently playing in 103 secondary radio markets with 978 plays this week. The song is playing on 12 Music Row reporting stations with 142 plays reported this week by those markets, a 19% increase over the previous report.

Miko will be in Nashville for the October IEBA (International Entertainment Buyers Assn.) conference. She begins work on her sophomore album with producer, Ron Cornelius, later this month.
