Nashville, TN. (www.thepovertyneckhillbillies.com) - Rising country group, The PovertyNeck Hillbillies, whose video 'Mr. Right Now' has been No 2 on the Great American Country Television's (GAC) Top 20 Country Countdown for an impressive five weeks straight, will make a much anticipated appearance on the show Friday, October 6th at 9pm EST (check local listings). The band will also appear on 'GAC Nights' Wednesday, October 11th at 9pm EST where host Suzanne Alexander will discuss with them how the success of their first single, 'Mr. Right Now' has made them one of country music's rising stars. 'We are extremely honored by the support we have received from GAC,' said The PovertyNeck Hillbillies. 'The fact that our fans keep voting for the 'Mr. Right Now' video week after week landing us at No 2 on the Top 20 countdown is just beyond great because not only is it our first video, but we had so much fun making it.' During both shows the guys talk about what an amazing year it has been since signing with Rust Records and releasing their self-titled album. They also highlight what a great experience shooting the 'Mr. Right Now' video was, especially with Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger starring in it, and how they came to be the 'official band' of the Steelers. Viewers will also get an inside look at how they came to be a seven-member band, what each of them contributes musically, and how interesting it can get on the tour bus with 14 men. The PovertyNeck Hillbillies are currently on the road in support of their album, which is in stores now.
