Sonny Burgess to Headline Celebrity Cutting Charity Event

NASHVILLE, TN. (CPI Records) - CPI Records recording artist, Sonny Burgess will perform at the 12th annual Celebrity Cutting charity event December 1, 2006 at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, TX.

The Celebrity Cutting is produced by Beverly Branch and Lyn Walsh of Careity Foundation and takes place in conjunction with the National Cutting Horse Association Futurity. The event will benefit the Careity Foundation and the NCHA Foundations. Careity is a non-profit organization that works with physicians to identify and meet the needs of cancer patients. The NCHA Foundations were established to provide education and assistance to its members' families in times of need.

With an attendance of over 4,000, the Celebrity Cutting event is one of the most exciting and successful fundraising events in the country. The Celebrity Cutting has raised close to three million dollars. The event features national celebrities riding some of the most athletic horses in the world, an unforgettable concert and dinner.

Under the coaching of famous cutting horse trainers Rick and Shelly Mowery of Weatherford, Texas, Burgess will ride as a celebrity cutter as will Trent Willmon. Later in the evening Burgess will perform songs from his new album, Stronger, at the event. Tracy Byrd, Craig Morgan and Dan Roberts will also be appearing on stage with Burgess and his band..
