Nashville, TN (Trace Adkins Official Website) - Trace Adkins, one of country music's brightest stars, kicks off the Fall with not only one bang - but two - as his newest album Dangerous Man is certified Gold (500,000 copies sold) and in the very same week, his Greatest Hits Collection; Volume 1 is also certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (1 million copies sold).

On August 15, Adkins released Dangerous Man, his seventh studio album and follow-up to his Platinum albums, Comin' On Strong and Songs About Me (nearing the double-Platinum status). Entering Billboard's country album chart at No.1 and No. 3 on Top 200 (all genres), the album sold more than 115,000 its first week and held fast to the No 1 spot for two weeks in a row, marking yet another career milestone for Adkins.

Greatest Hits Collection, Volume 1 was released and Gold-certified in 2003 and included many of his hits that have made Adkins one of country's more consistent hitmakers and chart mainstays.

Celebrating his 10-year anniversary as a recording artist, the esteemed Opry member has built a remarkable career with chart-topping success, national TV appearances and highly successful concert tours. Adkins has continued to build momentum album after album, hit after hit. He has released 20 singles with nineteen so far charting in the Top 25 - 12 of them making it to the Top 10; eight have landed in the Top 5.

Adkins' latest single, 'Ladies Love Country Boys' is the follow-up to 'Swing,' the smash hit of the summer from Dangerous Man. The new sing- along anthem that talks about how city girls can't seem to resist the charm of those good ole country boys, is racing up the country singles chart, becoming a Top 40 hit after just one week
