Nashville, TN. (Cheryl Harvey Hill) - Many country music fans are familiar with the band Wild Horses. They have been free ranging across the country and roping in peoples hearts for many a year. They are four amazingly talented singers, songwriters and musicians. The group consists of Angela, Michael, Steve and Ralph. They are, not only wonderful entertainers, they are wonderful human beings and I am honored to be able to call them my friends. They have had a bumpy ride this past year or so. Soon after relocating back to Texas from Nashville, you may have read about the horrific accident that Steve (their bass player) suffered. In a freak accident at his day job, he was nearly killed when a ton of steel fell on him. Any one who knows this band knows that they are a true "family" so this accident affected all of their lives. I am pleased to be able to say that although Steve lost a leg in that accident, he has NOT lost his spirit or spunk and he is now "back in the saddle" on a new leg that he is quite proud of. Wild Horses is whole again and ready to "Ride, Cowboy, Ride" (song from their last album). Their new album will be released soon and so they have decided the time is right to stake a claim on myspace. I hope you will all stop by and give them a big ole "WELCOME." They are still arranging the furniture on their new myspace but you can learn all about them on their official website. Oh yes, I almost forgot. Their loyal fans who have followed their career (and followed them across the country, in some cases for many years) are affectionately referred to as the "herd." I think this is one herd y'all might want to hang with. They are true, blue ribbon, champions. And I only have one thing left to say about the news that they will have a new album soon: YEHAW!
