NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - An upcoming ABC television special will feature a medium who is said to have contacted the Mamas & the Papas' John Phillips from beyond the grave.

World-renowned medium George Anderson will be featured in the broadcast special Contact: Talking To The Dead on April 22 at 10 p.m. ET. On the show he delivers a comforting message to Phillips's daughter, actress Mackenzie Phillips, that brings her to tears. The actress says that her father said things through Anderson that she'd been hoping to hear for a long time. John Phillips died of heart failure on March 18, 2001.

The hour-long special also features other celebrities talking with Anderson about deceased loved ones, including Vanna White, WWF/WCW champion Brett "The Hitman" Hart, and the mother and sister of Bonny Lee Bakley, the murdered wife of actor Robert Blake.
