Nashville, TN (www.toddfritsch.com) - Todd Fritsch, dubbed the 'Texas Ambassador' by Country Weekly magazine, returns to
Europe in August for his second international tour, with dates in Belgium, France, Italy and Switzerland. Todd toured Belgium, France and Switzerland in February, but this will be his first appearance in Italy. He is the Guest of Honor at this year's prestigious Equiblues Country
Music Festival in France, and will not only sing at Equiblues, but he will perform a roping demonstration for his fans as well.
Todd's popularity continues to grow on a global scale. Last week, the European Country Music Association honored him with the 2006 'Male Vocalist of the Year' and 'Album of the Year' awards, and line dances for two of his European hit singles ('Bob Wills Song' and 'I Got Mexico') have been choreographed by Rafel Corbi of Spain and are 'all the rage' at clubs in Spain, Holland, Germany and Singapore.
Recent national television appearances by this Diamond Music Group recording artist include the singing of the National Anthem at the televised (Fox TV) Houston Astros vs. St. Louis Cardinals baseball game in July and an interview on GAC Nights (GAC TV) with Suzanne Alexander in June. This month, Country Weekly magazine featured a two-page insider's look at Todd's February tour of Europe.
Fritsch's new single, 'Every Honky Tonkin' Hero Has His Day' (featuring Texas songwriting icon Gary P. Nunn), was released exclusively to Texas radio stations last week, and his website, www.toddfritsch.com, has logged over one million hits since November.
