 NASHVILLE, TN. (Lyric Street) -- Vocal Group Rascal Flatts will make a very special appearance tonight (July 10) before resuming their 'Me And My Gang' tour this weekend after a short vacation break. The band will perform in the East Room of the White House this evening for an invitation only black-tie dinner, 'A Tribute to the Special Olympics and Eunice Kennedy Shriver.' Shriver established the Special Olympics in 1968 and the organization is the largest effort to provide sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing life-changing opportunities to more than 2.25 million athletes worldwide. After this weekend's 'Me And My Gang' concert stops in Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV, Gary, Jay and Joe Don will head back to Hollywood for a sold-out outdoor concert appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Monday, July 17.
