Nashville, TN (Kim Dettwiller/ TEAM STRATEGIES, LLC) - Grammy Award Winning Artist, Marty Raybon, recently sent his brand new single "Shenandoah Saturday Night" to country radio stations and will go for adds on Monday, July 17. This new single is the first release off his highly anticipated upcoming album, When The Sand Runs Out, is slated for release this fall through Dakota Sky Records, a new independent label in Nashville. Somewhere In The Vicinity Of The Heart

Throughout this album, Marty returns to those heart-stopping ballads and snappy tunes that make his voice and melodies instantly recognizable on the airwaves. As writer and co-producer, he found his passion and inspiration in his desire to return to country music - a desire that had been tugging at his heart during his ten year absence. Co-producer, Michael Curtis, with true southern roots as well, has produced projects for some of the most talented artists in country music. In addition to Marty, he has produced hit albums for Randy Travis, Josh Turner and Billy Dean. You can hear that both Marty and Michael are "back at home" while recording the album at renowned Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

In reference to both his new single and his return to country radio, Marty states, "Shenandoah Saturday Night" is a joyous reflection of the past hits for us all and also a look into what is to come. It's a song of rebirth while also reflecting into the past. The Shenandoah sound is one that I love and one that people across the country have come to expect from me. I am excited to be a part of country music once again and I look forward to revisiting friends and fans that I have missed dearly over the last few years."

Marty's new label head, Sharon Colberg, states "When the opportunity came available to sign this wonderful artist, it was like a breath of fresh air. "Two Dozen Roses" was always my favorite song, and Marty Raybon my favorite singer. Never in a lifetime did I ever think when his voice came across the air waves several years ago that one day, this legend would be signed to our new Country Label imprint DAKOTA SKY RECORDS. Both Glenn and I are thankful to God for this blessing, and also for the blessing of our wonderful and talented granddaughter Nickia, who is label mate to Marty Raybon."

From the very first time you heard Marty Raybon, the lead singer of the award-winning country music group Shenandoah, singing "Mama Knows," "Ghost In This House," "Two Dozen Roses," "Church On Cumberland Road," and "Somewhere In The Vicinity Of The Heart" you knew he was one of those very gifted vocalists. He can take a lyric and put heartbreak into the melody like no other singer.

Rarely is there such a voice that is not just unforgettable, but undeniable. A voice filled with emotion and compassion that not only comes from a melody or a great lyric, but from the heart. A voice that draws you in with trepidation and makes you laugh at the shear elation of hearing it. And when you do hear Marty's voice, you realize that God has placed a precious gift in his life.

After a successful career in country music, Marty returned to his roots, first with two gospel projects and then a successful return to bluegrass music where he gained several accolades in a short time. Marty is able to bridge the gap between audiences of different musical genres, dissolving the lines that have been drawn between them. His new project, When the Sand Runs Out, is like a catalog of your favorite music. A well-balanced mixture of great songs from "Shenandoah Saturday Night" to "Suzanne" to "Who Are You", this project is his best work yet. He takes the past, present and future in a direction it has never gone before, converging three musical roads into one with the lilt of a single note.

After hearing his latest work, you will understand that Marty Raybon is not just one of the greatest singers there has ever been he is also a man of unwavering faith and extraordinary vision.
