 Ajax, ON (Spectrum Entertainment and Promotion) - Canadian Country Singer, Songwriter and Performer, Lorraine Davies has reached number 24 in the European Country Music Association Charts. In only being the second week on the charts, Davies jumped from 79 to 24. "This is just great," exclaims Davies, "I know I was getting a lot of e-mail from listeners and DJ's in Europe that liked my music, but I never thought I would go so high up the chart so soon." This being the first song Davies released to Europe, she released "Me and My Man," a single off her debut CD "A Time for Me." The song was co-written by Davies, Scott Crawford and Bruce McLaughlin. She plans to release another single internationally in September of 2006. She is also planning to release "Me and My Man" to Canada and the United States later this year. Davies resides in the Durham/Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. Lorraine has been performing throughout Ontario with her band, the Too Drunk to Fish Band (they have a politically correct name of the Good Time Fish Band!)
