Rebecca Lynn Howard Signs With Murrah

NASHVILLE, TN (Top40-Charts/ Rebecca Lynn Howard Official Website) - Singer/songwriter Rebecca Lynn Howard, whose career as a recording artist was launched with the megahit 'Forgive,' has signed an exclusive songwriting and co-publishing agreement with Roger Murrah's Castle Street Music, Incorporated.

'I believe the timing for Rebecca, as an artist and songwriter, has never been better,' said Murrah. 'She has an amazingly well-written backlog of new songs. We couldn't be more excited about having her join our staff. I think we've signed one of the best writers in Nashville today.'

A native of Salyersville, Kentucky, Howard moved to Nashville in the late '90s and began her career as a songwriter, later becoming a celebrated, critically-acclaimed recording artist as well. Along with her own recordings, she has songs recorded by Reba McEntire ('If Hearts Could Talk'), John Michael Montgomery ('Love Is Our Business') and Trisha Yearwood ('I Don't Paint Myself Into Corners').
