
HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Heba Kadry/ www.sugarhillstudios.com) – Legendary SugarHill Recording Studios has partnered with Apple Computer, Inc. to help educate home recordists about the compatibility between Apple hardware/software with audio and music production.
SugarHill President Dan Workman (and world renowned producer) will present a seminar at the Apple Store The Woodlands, Texas, as part of 'Made on A Mac' series. These events are designed to educate people about Apple Computer's compatibility with various fields of production. Workman will be focusing on audio and music production using Apple hardware running audio applications such as Apple Logic Pro, Garage Band and Digidesign's Protools.
SugarHill Recording Studios is one of the oldest continuously operating studios in the south and has been operating for 65 years, becoming a historical landmark in southern music.
Workman has co-owned and managed SugarHill since the 90's and has an impressive discography, which includes Destiny's Child, Beyonce, ZZ Top, Lyle Lovett, Smash Mouth. Sarah Sharp and Clay Walker. Workman also serves the NARAS Board of Governors for the Texas Grammy Chapter continuing his contributions as a prominent figure in the music industry in Texas.
Apple Store The Woodland's Mac Creative and event organizer Nino Batista, has been training home recordists on various Apple audio/music software, Batista hopes to exemplify through Workman's experience in the industry, the synergy between Apple and the audio/music production world.

The presentation will take place on Saturday, June 24th at 2pm and 6pm at Apple Store The Woodland's location. Dan Workman will be presenting in Apple Store The Woodland's studio space area, where attendees are invited to participate in an open Q&A to address their concerns.
