Nashville, TN (Jack Ingram Official Website) -
Jack Ingram has eagerly anticipated this day for months now. His first concert as the sole opener for nine-time Grammy-winning superstar
Sheryl Crow is tonight in Indianapolis and he's pumped. Originally scheduled for March, but postponed due to Crow's breast cancer treatment, June has turned out to be auspicious in many respects. Jack scored his first Number One country single, 'Wherever You Are,' last month and inked a nearly half-year tour with country's most-successful duo, Brooks & Dunn, which begins in earnest in July and heads to Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, St. Louis, Cleveland, Detroit, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Seattle, Portland, San
Diego and many more cities.
In the midst of Jack's career bounty, including singing The Star Spangled Banner before the opening game of the NBA Championship Finals in his former hometown of Dallas last week, and performances yesterday at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville and Chattanooga's annual Riverbend Festival, he and his wife Amy are celebrating a joyous event on the family front. A second son, Hudson Turner Ingram, joined the Ingram clan last Tuesday, June 6 at 2:38pm. He weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20' long. He was welcomed by sister Ava, 3, and brother Eli, almost 2. The exhausted father said, 'Well....No 3. Hopefully I won't lose track of them, since they outnumber Amy and me. So now we switch from man-to-man to zone defense. Hudson and Mom are both well and we are very excited.'
Following the chart-topping 'Wherever You Are,' Jack's new single-with-a twist, 'Love You,' has made its debut on the country charts. This hilarious spin on communication debuts on the R&R chart at No 45 and rises to No 49 on Billboard. The video was recently filmed in the California desert and promises to be a fan favorite when it debuts in the coming weeks.
