NASHVILLE, TN. (Dixie Chicks Official Website) - After a three year hiatus, The Dixie Chicks are back with a new album TAKING THE LONG WAY followed by a five month North American Tour aptly named "Accidents & Accusations." Tickets for the tour will go on sale during the first week of June and, beginning May 23rd, fans who buy the new album at any Target store in the US will receive a password for an online presale.

The tour will be preceded by two shows in London to kick of the international release of the album on June 12 including one show at Sheperd's Bush, the venue that served as the setting for Natalie Maines' fateful comment. The band will also perform on June 17 as special guests of The Eagles.

For more information on the forthcoming album TAKING THE LONG WAY as well as audio/video clips of their chart topping single "Not Ready to Make Nice" visit https://dixiechicks.msn.com or their official site https://www.dixiechicks.com.
