NASHVILLE, TN (Reading, Writing & Rhythm Foundation) - Chely Wright, founder of the Reading, Writing & Rhythm Foundation, is pleased to introduce the sponsors committed to lend their support in this year's Reading, Writing & Rhythm Benefit Concert scheduled to take place Tuesday evening, June 6, at the Wildhorse Saloon. Local and national sponsors on board to make the sixth annual event a concerted success are: American Airlines, BB&T Financial, BMI, Best Buy, Creative Artists Agency, Flavour, Harley Davidson Cool Springs,
Heartland Dental, Hillcrest Ford, Marriott Vanderbilt, Shure Mics, Southern Ice Arena, Wildhorse Saloon and XM Satellite Radio.
Chely has also announced two solid gold additions to the talent line-up for the evening; hit-makers Jason Aldean and Bryan White will perform. They join the company of Wynonna, Julie Roberts, Little Big Town and Keith Anderson. Nashville celebrity columnist Brad Schmitt will emcee.
Bryan's participation in this year's event is a distinguished occasion. 'Being a new Dad has caused me to look at life through a different lens. More and more I realize just how much an organization like Chely's is needed. Providing children with musical instruments, allowing them a sense of belonging and purpose, and giving their creativity and dreams a place to begin is an incredible thing,' said White. 'I'm honored and excited to be part of this year's Reading Writing & Rhythm event.'
Chely established the Reading, Writing & Rhythm Foundation with the objective of improving the quality of music education in America's public schools and raising public awareness surrounding the importance of music education for our nation's youth. Since its formation in 1999, the organization has raised nearly $1 Million.
Chely's peers have openly applauded her efforts. More and more artists jump on board to champion the charge making the concert itself a sold-out event, year after year.
Roberts, who is eager to return for a second time to perform, shares her thoughts on the organization and the importance of music in our schools, "Reading, Writing & Rhythm makes music a part of the education of youth and it is a very important part. More and more children should have the exposure to music and I am honored to help to open those doors. I am looking forward to another great night."
The 6th Annual Reading, Writing & Rhythm Concert event and silent auction will be held Tuesday, June 6, at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN. The event will air live on XM Satellite Radio.
