Sydney, AU. (Universal Music Australia) - Marking the first time a rock band has ever had a No 1 song on the Country chart, Bon Jovi has returned home from the all time record-setting Japanese stadium leg of their 'Have A Nice Day' World Tour to find their duet with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, "Who Says You Can't Go Home," has hit No 1.

Bon Jovi's phenomenal 'Have A Nice Day' world tour, where the band will play for 2.3 million people, started in Des Moines in November '05. The band has just announced the addition of nine new stadium shows for July, including 2 sold-out performances on July 18 & 19 at Giants Stadium, and a just-announced third show on July 29.

"Who Says You Can't Go Home" was written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, the hit-making songwriting team responsible for some of the most recognizable rock and pop hits of the past 20+ years. "Who Says You Can't Go Home" is the second single from the band's ninth studio album, 'Have A Nice Day,' which was released in September '05. The album debut reiterated the band's global rock icon status when it earned a career-high sales week for the band in the US, as well as debuting at No 1 in Japan, Australia, Holland, Austria, Germany, and Canada. The album has currently sold over 3 million albums worldwide.

"Who Says You Can't Go Home" has taken on a life of its own. The song has been the foundation around which Jon Bon Jovi has built a successful partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Bon Jovi's relationship with the charity began in '05, and since then, Jon and Habitat along with Jon's AFL team, The Philadelphia Soul have built six homes in a in Philadelphia.

Jon's work with Habitat, along with his other humanitarian efforts, has inspired HELP USA - which aids and mentors the homeless - to name Jon Bon Jovi one of the recipients of their annual HELP Heroes Award, along with director Martin Scorsese, at an awards banquet on May 4.

'Who Says You Can't Go Home' was performed live when the Country Music Awards came to New York in November '05. The song has not only topped the Country chart, it has become a favorite on CMT, GAC and VH1 where the video has been in top rotation for weeks. The video was shot on-site at the band's Habitat for Humanity build and has earned the band their first CMT Award for "Collaborative Video Of The Year." The collaboration is also nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award (May). The Governor of New Jersey recently has selected "Who Says" selected to be featured in an ongoing campaign to encourage tourism in the band's native state.
