Bethel, ME (www.smasheasy.com) - Following the success of her "Legends Trilogy," the smasheasy label has released the first in a planned new series of albums by Conni St.Pierre celebrating the spirit in nature. "Flower Spirits" is a bouquet of songs, each composed with the essence and spirit of a particular flower in the arrangement.
Conni's music blooms with vibrant alto flute melodies, the mystery of gypsy harp, haunting Japanese shakuhachi and ambient keyboards rooted with Native American drums and percussion.
The album is initially being released on over 150 internet download sites. The cd version will be released on the Summer Solstice in June. Her last release, the third album in the Legends Trilogy, "Beyond the Sky: Legends of the Starry Night," was named the Best New Age/Acoustic release of 2003 by NPR's Wind and Wire, and charted in the top 3 on download sites in both the US and Europe.
Conni is available for interviews and may be contacted via e-mail at [email protected]. Cds, photos and presskits are available on request. For more information go to smasheasy.com or connistpierre.com
