 Nashville, TN (Lyric Street Records) - Rascal Flatts' new CD Me And My Gang has scanned over 1 million units in the two weeks since its release, making it the highest selling country title for 2006. With 345,000 units sold in the second week of release, Rascal Flatts remain in the No 1 position on Nielsen SoundScan's Top 200 albums chart and Country Top 75 chart. The band also holds the No 1 position on the country singles charts. 'What Hurts The Most,' the lead single from the new CD, remains the No 1 single on both the R&R and Billboard charts for five and four weeks respectively. At the same time, the new single, 'Me And My Gang,' enters the country radio charts at *39 (Billboard) and *46 (R&R) Rascal Flatts has scanned over 10 million units in the six short years since the release of their self-titled debut album.
