NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CPI) - CPI recording artist Sonny Burgess is in the midst of a four state radio tour to help promote his current single, "The More I'm Around Some People, The More I Like My Dog." This is the second single off of his recently released album Stronger.

Sonny will travel through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas visiting radio stations. One of the highlights of the trip for Sonny will be a performance at KSOK radio's "Evening For The Kids" benefit concert in Arkansas City, Kansas on Thursday, April 20, 2006. Sonny will be joined on the benefit's bill by fellow Texan Dave Alexander, and Mark Bowling, winner of the 2005 Kansas State Fair Colgate Country Showdown. Information on the benefit can be found at www.ksokradio.com

Sonny's single is currently moving up the Music Row and Best in Texas National Charts. The accompanying video for the single will be released within the next two weeks.
