Nashville, TN (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - 2005 American Idol winner Carrie Underwood was a fan-voted favorite once again last night, as she became the most-awarded artist of the evening, with two trophies at the 2006 CMT Music Awards. The only multiple winner of the night, Carrie was honored with awards for Breakthrough Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, both for her record-breaking 'Jesus, Take the Wheel.'
Underwood also lit up the show, broadcast live from Nashville, with a performance of the song, which logged six weeks atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

Last night's success served as a wonderful prelude for an exclusive celebration this evening in honor of Carrie's debut 19 Recordings/Arista Records/Arista Nashville album, Some Hearts. Now RIAA certified Triple-Platinum for sales of 3,000,000 units, Some Hearts has earned the fastest such certification for a female country debut in history.
