Nashville, TN (Rascal Flatts Official Website) - With first day sales in excess of 250,000 copies of the new Rascal Flatts CD Me And My Gang, it has already surpassed the entire first week sales of their previous CD.

Feels Like Today, which is certified quadruple platinum, sold 200,946 units in its first week of release in September 2004. In its first day of release, sales of Me And My Gang have already exceeded the quarter million mark.

'What Hurts The Most,' the lead single from Rascal Flatts' fourth studio album Me And My Gang, remains the No 1 song on country radio for three weeks and counting. The project is produced by Dann Huff.

Following their appearances on The Tonight Show (3/30), Good Morning America (4/4) and The View (4/5) Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are jetting across the country to visit with radio for a series of in studio appearances and acoustic performances. During a two week period, Rascal Flatts will make stops in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, St. Louis, Tampa, and Atlanta.
The band is slated to perform on the CMT Music Awards on April 10th where 'Skin (Sarabeth)' is nominated for Group/Duo Video of the Year.

Lyric Street Records is a part of the Buena Vista Music Group. The Buena Vista Music Group is the recorded music and music publishing arm of the Walt Disney Company.
