Woodland Hills, CA (Top40 Charts) - Univision
Music Group, the fastest growing independent Latin label, announced the official launch of its bilingual website. Created for the Latin music fan, the content is presented in an attractive design and clean interface that allows for quick access and easy navigation throughout more than 19 features and sections per artist.
The website also promotes a sense of community between artists and their fans.
"This was a very ambitious project, the website has nineteen different sections per artist, multimedia galleries, and it can all be updated dynamically. The Univision Music Group site provides visitors more features and information on each of its artists than any other record label website does, Hispanic or General Market. In addition, every page on the site in Spanish is mirrored in English. All of this was completed in under 4 months," summarized Carlos Gonzales, Director of Operations at Comova, the Los Angeles-based firm hired to develop the website.
Visitors will certainly have an entertaining experience and will find the most comprehensive information about each artist by navigating through the features and sections in each artist's mini-site including the Biography, Photos, Discography, Videos, Audio Clips, News Tour Info, and Freebies like Screensavers, Contests and Official Site Link. Users will also be able to sign-up for their favorite artist newsletter. A link to buy a CD is also provided.
The multimedia features full-length video streaming, audio clips, exclusive audio and video interviews and behind the scenes footage. This content is easily accessible through the artist mini-site or through the multimedia gallery page.
The website has also been designed to promote a sense of community- to connect the artists with their fans as well as to connect fans with other fans. The well-developed community area includes features like Join the Fan Club; Join the Street Team, Fan Club Links, Register Your Fan Club, Register Your Fan Site, Message Board Links and Chat Links. Through a partnership with Univision Online, visitors will have access to message boards and Instant Message (IM) technologies in an effort to promote a sense of online community and promote an ongoing communication among fans of a particular artist.
