Legends will join together at The Station Inn on March 22, 2006 to benefit the International Bluegrass
Music Museum's groundbreaking 'Video Oral History Project' now known as VOHP.
Owensboro, Kentucky, March 14, 2006: Andrea Roberts, of The Andrea Roberts Agency, will host a special event featuring performances by The Grascals, Ronnie Reno, Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson, Jerry Salley, The J.T. Gray Band, Mark Newton, The Stringdusters, and Special Guests TBA.
Tickets are $12 at the door. All proceeds benefit the International Bluegrass Music Museum's VOHP film series in which the lives and musical contributions of each member of 'Bluegrass Music's First Generation' are recorded for posterity in one-hour documentaries. The First Generation category was established by folklorists & historians to honor the 232 musicians who made substantial contributions to the creation of the genre prior to 1954.
The Video Oral History Project is extremely and increasingly time-sensitive as these artists and songwriters advance in age with some of their best stories still undocumented. The need for industry and public support is critical. 'I'm looking forward to a great night and hope that in addition to raising some much-needed funds that we will also raise awareness for the museum,' said Ms. Roberts.

The International Bluegrass Music Museum is the only museum of its kind in the world. It is located in the beautiful RiverPark Center Complex at 117 Daviess Street in downtown Owensboro on the banks of the Ohio River. With a mission to preserve and promote bluegrass music, the museum provides extensive educational services, guided tours for groups, a lasting home for bluegrass, and great entertainment for music fans worldwide.
Ongoing projects are Library/Archive Project, Bluegrass in the Schools, Video Oral History Project, Free Saturdays, and ROMP, a 4-day museum event held the last weekend of each June, which includes the Bluegrass Masters Film Festival and features many of the films produced through this project, including five world premieres for 2006: Bobby Osborne, Tex Logan, Bill Clifton, Eddie Adcock, and The Ozaki Brothers. )
