Steve Azar Hits the Slopes For Charity

Nashville, TN (Steve Azar Official Website) - Soulful country music singer/songwriter Steve Azar will join skiing legends, sports and entertainment celebrities on the slopes in Vail, CO for the Countrywide American Ski Classic, March 22-26.

The Countrywide American Ski Classic is the oldest and largest skiing competition and festival of its kind in North America. Azar will kick-off the 24th Annual event with a performance of the National Anthem before gearing up to hit the slopes for the ski-racing action. Additionally, he will also perform at the Mountains of Hope charity dinner and auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Vail Valley Foundation's educational initiatives.

Azar will be among many other celebrities participating throughout the event, including actor Robert Carradine, Olympic gymnast Trent Dimas, NASCAR legend Bill Elliott, Environmental champion Robert Kennedy, Jr., Olympic speed skater Johann Olav Koss, actor Robert Loggia, Olympic swimmer Steve Lundquist, Bachelor winners Ryan and Trista Sutter, Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta and more.

Azar's Indianola, his highly anticipated new album for Dang Records/Midas Records Nashville is scheduled for release early this fall.
