Nashville, TN (Danielle Peck Official Website) -
Danielle Peck has fantasized about this day since she formed her imaginary
Danielle Peck Record Company at age 10. Her debut album,
Danielle Peck, for which the dark-haired beauty wrote eight songs, will be available for purchase through on-line outlets beginning March 14. Websites, from iTunes to MSN Music, and from Wal-Mart.com to Napster, will feature the music of the Ohio-raised singer and songwriter. Traditional retail stores will have the album on their shelves June 6.
Danielle Peck will also be country music's first digital 'win it before you can buy it' campaign. The weekend of March 11, select country radio stations will offer their listeners an opportunity to win the album before it is available to purchase on-line. Launched in partnership with Connect Music Store, winners will be given a special code to redeem for the full album.
Danielle's brand new single, 'Findin' a Good Man,' from her debut Big Machine Records album, is once again among the most-added songs at country radio. The 'girls-night-out' anthem has already debuted on the Billboard chart and is garnering great reviews from radio programmers across the country. Danielle will perform the lively song on a special 'Women of Country' edition of the long-running Grand Ole Opry on March 18. The show will also feature Lee Ann Womack, Carrie Underwood, and Lorrie Morgan.
Danielle's debut single, 'I Don't,' from the forthcoming album, has also made a big splash. Almost a quarter of a million iTunes customers downloaded the song recently when it was featured as the free single of the week. The powerful song, which she wrote, became a Top 25 hit and Danielle is the only debut country female to achieve that status in the last year.
