Nashville, TN (Katapult Records) - Singer/Songwriter Brian McComas, the charter artist on new label Katapult Records Nashville, have temporarily moved into Masterfonics Studio on Music Row. McComas is putting the finishing touches on his new album, Back Up Again.

Gearing up for the release of their first single and video as a label, the Katapult staff has set up camp in the studio for the past week. 'Mastering the record isn't the only thing that's getting accomplished here,' says McComas. 'The marketing department decided to book the video editing suite and the mastering room at the same time so they can edit video and still have immediate access to the team and myself while I'm listening to the final mixes.'

McComas is certainly not a stranger to the recording process. His self-titled debut album was released in 2003 on Lyric Street Records and delivered the hits, '99.9% Sure (I've Never Been Here Before)' and 'You're In My Head,' which climbed the Country Radio charts to their Top 10 and Top 20 positions, respectively. The video clips for both singles received heavy airplay and requests at both CMT and GAC. He spent all of 2004 and 2005 on the road supporting the project.

'I'm excited about the new songs,' says McComas. 'I'm involved in every part of the creative process and I'm making the music I want to make. I can't wait to get out there and support this album.' The first single from Back Up Again is currently scheduled for release this Spring.
