NASHVILLE, TN (ACM) - Reigning ACM Vocal Group of the Year RASCAL FLATTS co-hosted the press conference to announce nominees for the Academy of Country Music Awards this morning in Nashville with Carrie Underwood and Hannah Storm of the CBS Early Show. The nominations were read live on the show. RASCAL FLATTS garnered 4 nominations and entered elite territory with their first-ever nod in the Entertainer of the Year category. Additional nominations include Group of the Year, Album (Feels Like Today) and Song of The Year 'Skin (Sarabeth).'

'We are honored and blown away to be up for 4 awards, and surprised and proud by the Entertainer nod,' says Gary LeVox. 'To have your body of work honored is special and it's an amazing feeling to have your name called- a few times!' says Jay DeMarcus. 'We blame it on the fans- see you in Vegas!' says Joe Don Rooney.
RASCAL FLATTS have previously won 5 ACM Awards and have been tapped to perform on the 41st Annual ACM Awards on May 23 live from the MGM in Las Vegas on the CBS Television Network.
