NASHVILLE, TN (Grand Ole Opry Official Website) - The Grand Ole Opry presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has announced the next show in its Signature Shows Series, Women of Country, set for Sat., March 18. Loretta Lynn, Lorrie Morgan, Carrie Underwood, and Lee Ann Womack are among the women of country to appear on the show. From the Coal Miner's Daughter to the 2005 American Idol, women will be taking the Opry stage to pay homage to country's all-time great female artists and to perform their own current chart-topping hits. One hour of the show will air live on 'Grand Ole Opry Live' on Great American Country (GAC) at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is partnering with the Opry for this special evening and will be on site with information available in the Opry House lobby. An online auction hosted by www.opry.com will benefit the Komen Foundation beginning Tues., March 14. Items to be included in the auction include an Epiphone guitar autographed by the ladies on the Women of Country Signature Show, an autographed commemorative Women of Country Hatch Show Print, and front row tickets to the April 15 Opry featuring Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and more.

The Grand Ole Opry is presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Opry performances are held every weekend of the year, and the Tuesday Night Opry resumes March 21. To plan an Opry visit, call (800) SEE-OPRY or log on to www.opry.com.

About the Susan G. Komen Foundation
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the nation's largest private funding sources for breast health and breast cancer. Since its inception in 1982, the Foundation has awarded more than 1,000 breast cancer research grants totaling more than $180 million. The Greater Nashville Affiliate will award in excess of $200,000 in the upcoming year to a number of educational and outreach initiatives throughout the community. This year we celebrate 15 years of our signature event, the Race for the Cure, in the Greater Nashville Area. We are proud of our support in this community and look forward to continued growth as we work to fulfill our mission: 'to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through the advancement of research, education, screening, and treatment.'
