Music Hall of Fame on February 23, 2006. She was presented her award by Lily Tomlin at the Lexington Center Bluegrass Ballroom. Naomi Judd was presented the award along with her daughter
Wynonna Judd. The mother and daughter duo became internationally known during the 1990's for their traditional country harmony singing. The Judds are from Ashland, Kentucky. The class of 2006 joins 19 others to receive the state honor, which was established in 2004.
Along with working on her music, Naomi Judd has begun taping a weekly series on the Hallmark Channel titled, "Naomi's New Morning". The talk show is a thought-provoking sojourn through mind-body-spirit connection with a mix of celebrity guests, scientists, inventors, medical ethicists and other people from Naomi Judd's eclectic inner circle of friends. The show airs every Sunday on the Hallmark Channel.
