NASHVILLE, TN (Midas Records) - Michelle Rene', who was just named the Best New Country Act in 2006 as the winner of the 24th Annual Colgate Country Showdown on January 26, 2006, made her first appearance as a recording artist (Midas Records) at last week's Country Radio Seminar (CRS-37) in Nashville.

Making introductions, the 18-year old singer/songwriter maintained a steady schedule to visit with various press, radio and television media to announce her signing with Midas Records and the release of her debut single entitled "Kick It Up a Notch" which is scheduled for radio release in the coming weeks.
Michelle met with warm embrace from her peers including John Corbett (Fun Bone Records), Blue County (Curb Records) and Cerrito (Checo Records).
