NASHVILLE, TN (903 Music) - Country artist and record label head Neal McCoy announced today at the 37th Annual Country Radio Seminar that his Nashville-based label, 903 Music, has signed platinum-selling artist Darryl Worley. Worley is 903 Music's second artist signing. McCoy became its first when he formed the label in February 2005. Worley commented, 'It's clear that 903 Music wants me there as much as I want to be there, which is refreshing. It has a full staff of proven industry professionals who are focused and committed to getting the job done and I'm confident that we'll have a lot of success.' McCoy offered, 'We are thrilled to have Darryl onboard. Not only is he an incredibly talented artist and songwriter, he is a great guy and a good friend. He knows how to work hard and has already proven that he has what it takes to be successful in this business. He will be a perfect fit.' Worley is currently recording his next album and a single is expected to be delivered to radio early this spring. Worley's hits have included "I Miss My Friend,' 'Awful, Beautiful Life,' "A Good Day to Run" and "Have You Forgotten?' He has been nominated for numerous country music awards including Country Music Association's Single of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Have You Forgotten?' (2003), as well as Horizon Award in 2002 and 2003; and the Academy of Country Music's Top Male Vocalist (2002).
