NEW YORK (4 Runner Official Website) - Vocal group 4Runner have been asked by the USO to entertain our men and women in uniform. The guys will head to Greenland for a nine day tour leaving March 30th.Group member Lee Hilliard is co-writer of a song entitled '' We Will Hope With You'' a message dedicated to service men and their families. The song offers hope and encouragement from the on-going agony of war devastation. Voice Of America ( a worldwide internet broadcast in 44 languages from the U.S.) will introduce the song this Friday on a show called Country Hits USA. The 4Runner boys anticipate this "chance of a lifetime". 4Runner is a country music vocal group made up of three seasoned industry veterans. Craig Morris, Lee Hilliard, and Michael Lusk each having a long history of lead and background singing. Signed to Polydor Records in 1995, 4Runner burst into the Country music scene with "Cain's Blood." 4Runner achieved a Top 5 single with "Cain's Blood" and sold over 200,000 albums. They were nominated for the Academy of Country Music's (ACM) Top New Vocal Group/Duet and the fan-based TNN/Music City News' Vocal Group of the Year in 1996. 4Runner has toured with BlackHawk, Tim McGraw, Kenny Rogers and quickly established a fan base that craved this traditional harmony tailored to the style of current music. Due to a record company merger, Polydor Records was merged into its parent label, A&M Nashville. Two weeks prior to the scheduled release of 4Runner's follow-up album, "One For The Ages," A&M Records closed its Nashville offices leaving 4Runner without a label. Since then, 4Runner has taken time to be with family and fulfill other dreams. A current resurgence of interest from industry professionals has influenced 4Runner to re-group and commit to making great country music. Lee Hilliard the tenor singer worked as a background vocalist for Loretta Lynn, Vern Gosdin, and Reba McEntire. Michael Lusk has worked for the Opryland singers as well as toured with the Billy Graham Crusade and Loretta Lynn. Craig Morris toured with Ronnie McDowell and Marie Osmond. As a songwriter, Craig has had cuts by Reba McEntire, Ray Charles, Oak Ridge Boys, Gary Morris and Craig Morgan.
