Bad Things" climbing the charts and burning up dance floors, Epic Recording artist
Jace Everett will be making several upcoming appearances at national swing and line dance competitions nationwide.
Everett¹s first stop will be at the iconic Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville, TN where "Bad Things" will be used as the official swing dance competition track. Everett will be on hand to announce the winners and sign autographs at the finals on February 22.
On Saturday, March 4, Everett will travel to Ft. Wayne, IN to attend and perform at the Ft. Wayne Showdown, the largest dance event in the U.S. "We¹re thrilled to have Jace at our event," says Ft. Wayne Showdown co-producer and "Bad Things" choreographer Barry Amato. "Jace¹s music has become extremely popular in the dance community and we know that our contestants will enjoy meeting the artist behind the song."
Jace will end his trip in Knoxville, TN on May 6 for Cotton Eyed Joe¹s "Bad Things" line-dance competition.
Jace has garnered some amazing exposure for a new artist. In the last six weeks, he performed "Bad Things" on the Tonight Show, taped an episode of AOL Sessions, was named an AOL Breakers artist, and was featured on Clear Channel¹s "New" and Yahoo¹s "Stop! Watch." "Bad Things" was also recently offered as iTunes Single of the Week (all genres), making Jace the first country artist to have his debut single receive the distinction.
In addition, Everett recently returned from a busy week spent with the Country Music Association¹s (CMA) "New From Nashville" initiative that took him to Dublin, Glasgow and London. On top of performing for eager audiences, he appeared on Ireland¹s "Early Morning AM" show, several BBC radio and television interviews and received a rave review in The Herald in Glasgow.
Jace Everett¹s self-titled Epic Records debut release is available at all major digital music outlets, and the physical album hits stores March 7, 2006.
