NEW YORK (Top40-Charts) - Rumors here in NY says that the New York-based Culture Project is expected to preview a rough demo of the two-hour production to Springsteen himself in March. If Bruce ultimately gives the thumbs-up, Drive All Night could very well be a Broadway, off-Broadway...or, at the very least, Asbury Park, New Jersey-bound stage production.

One performing arts group is about to find out, as they have turned songs from the Boss into a rock opera titled Drive All Night. The "demo version" of this rock opera will feature snippets from some 29 Springsteen songs in each act, as it tells the story of a working-class guy named Eddie. The show features well-known Springsteen faves like "Thunder Road" and "Atlantic City," as well as obscure tunes only a Bruce historian could pick out--like "Protection," a Springsteen-penned song that Donna Summer actually recorded.
