Nashville, TN (www.chriscagle.com) - Country music star, Chris Cagle is set to release his next single, "Wal-Mart Parking Lot" on Monday, February 13. The song follows his hit single "Miss Me Baby," from his high-octane CD, ANYWHERE BUT HERE. When Cagle first heard the up-tempo tale about coming-of-age in a small town, it immediately resonated with the Texas native. "This song was a no-brainer when we decided to record it, as it seems to explain exactly how it was for me growing up in Baytown," says Cagle. "When you live in a small town, there just isn't all that much to do, so practically every weekend we could be found hanging out in a parking lot somewhere, just laughing and having fun. We pretty much took our youth for granted back then." "Wal-Mart Parking Lot" anchors an album full of songs about real life, sung by a country artist who is one of the genre's best at turning reality into memorable music - and his fans are responding! Upon its release in October 2005, ANYWHERE BUT HERE marked his biggest sales week ever and the CD has enjoyed consistently strong sales ever since. Cagle travels to Georgia on Friday, February 3, where he'll film the new video for "Wal-Mart Parking Lot" during a live concert performance at Wild Bills in Duluth, GA. The video will capture life on the road and the live performance magic that has made Chris Cagle such a fan favorite. For additional news and complete list of tour dates, visit www.chriscagle.com.
