Brad Paisley's Grammy-Nominated Time Well Wasted Is Certified Platinum

(Brad Paisley Official Website) - With a new single nearing the top of the charts, a hot-ticket headlining tour currently on the road, and four 2006 Grammy Award nods making him the most-nominated male artist in country music this year, Brad Paisley must be doing something good with his time, a fact all the more evident with today's announcement that his Time Well Wasted disc has now been RIAA-certified Platinum.
Released in August, Time Well Wasted set a first week sales record for Paisley and becomes the fastest-certified million-seller of his career, a benchmark rivaled only by the five-month sprint of his Mud on the Tires as it vaulted from Platinum to Double Platinum.

Now four albums into his career – all certified Platinum or Double Platinum – Brad is the most-nominated and most-awarded country artist to debut since 1999, and recently scored four nominations for the 2006 Grammy Awards, including Best Country Album, for Time Well Wasted.
