Latin Jazz Fest III-Salsa On The River

MIAMI, Fl. (Yahoo) - A musical extravaganza celebrating Southwest Florida's growing Hispanic community. An exhibition featuring works by Hispanic artists will be showcased. Festival goers will be treated to an evening of world class entertainment featuring Grammy award winning performances by international, legendary artists, appetizing Latin cuisine and mouth-watering tropical drinks.

Tito Puente Jr. will serve as Master of Ceremonies. His father, music legend Tito Puente, was the driving force behind the first two events.

The all star artist line-up for Latin Jazz Fest III includes El maestro- Johnny Pacheco, bandleader and founder of the famous Fania All Stars and godfather of salsa.
Grammy award-winning guitarist, Jose Feliciano and the incomparable queen of salsa, Celia Cruz, whose performance at the last event was so riveting, the public demanded her return!
Between them, they have 206 albums (35 are gold), 8 Grammy awards, 6 Honorary doctorates, 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and 2 lifetime achievement awards, equaling one spectacular show!
