Skyla Spencer Releases New Single

NASHVILLE, TN. (Skyla Spencer Website) - Country music artist Skyla Spencer has released a new single to overseas radio! Skyla's "Why Do You Do This To Me" is a medium-tempo ballad that reflects on a love that comes back to you, and you are faced with the ultimate decision of letting them back into your life, or moving on without them. This song is filled with steel guitar. "Why Do You Do This To Me" can be found on her current cd (You Said You'd Call Me), and on Hillcrest Vol. 27.

When asked how she describes her music, Skyla replies 'My music is fun, energetic, & up-lifting. I love a sense of humor, and that shows through on some of my songs. I also enjoy writing ballads. Some of the songs on this album are from real life experiences, but it's through these experiences, either good or bad, that I have become stronger. My first album is dedicated to the people I have lost in my life and to the troops who sacrifice so much for us.' The album features a song titled 'If I Were Rain' that is a special dedication to the troops. It explains how, in the tough times that we are facing, the one thing that we can do is to pray for one another. 'If I Were Rain' hit Christian radio in July.
