NASHVILLE, Tenn., (MCA) - Just a little over a month after the release of her current album Jasper County, Trisha Yearwood is celebrating her 11th Gold Certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Following a whirlwind of television performances, print and radio press, as well as numerous sold-out tour dates, Yearwood still takes pleasure in the honor.

"I'm so excited to be Gold!" exclaims an enthusiastic Yearwood. "I never take it for granted that people are going to buy my records, and it makes me feel good that there are still some Trisha Yearwood fans out there!"

Fourteen years into her career and eleven albums later, Yearwood maintains a unique level of success in that she's never put out an album that hasn't achieved at least Gold status. Additionally, the RIAA has awarded her a 4X Platinum album, 2X Platinum record, four Platinum awardees and four previous Gold honors.

Yearwood will visit the Late Show with David Letterman on November 15 and Martha on November 16. She will also present at the Country Music Association's Awards in New York on November 15.
Look for Yearwood's second single from Jasper County, "Trying To Love You," which hits radio stations everywhere October 31.
