NASHVILLE, TN. (RCA) - With the release of Sara Evans' highly anticipated album, Real Fine Place, the RCA recording artist not only took the No 1 spot on the Billboard Country Album Chart and No 3 spot on the Top 200 Album Chart, Evans also had the highest scanning debut of her career. Real Fine Place sold 125,725 copies, nearly three times the first week sales of her platinum 2003 release, Restless. The first single and title track from Real Fine Place topped both the Billboard and Radio & Records charts for two weeks. RCA Label Group Chairman Joe Galante remarked, 'Sara Evans continues to take her career to the next level with every new album and each new tour. The huge debut of this album undoubtedly reflects the consumer's recognition of her star power.' USA Today's Brian Mansfield gives Real Fine Place 3 stars and writes, '…with more traditional songs of motherhood and small-town life, Evans has put together one of the most wholly, wholesomely sexual country albums in recent memory.' Will Hermes of Entertainment Weekly says, '…no woman currently does big-country… with more class and better hooks.' Sara Evans is nominated for two CMA awards including 'Female Vocalist of the Year' and 'Musical Event of the Year,' for 'New Again,' her duet with Brad Paisley. She will perform on the 39th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, November 15 (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) on the CBS Television Network. Evans is currently performing several songs from Real Fine Place while touring with Brad Paisley on the CMT ON TOUR: BRAD PAISLEY TIME WELL WASTED 2005 concert series. Several of the selections, including her new single, 'Cheatin',' have been receiving standing ovations from audiences who are hearing the new music for the first time.
