Choctaw, MS (Pearl River Resort) - Country music's 5-time Entertainer of the Year, Hank Williams, Jr. who will personally donate $125,000 to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in Biloxi, Miss during his concert at Pearl River Resort on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, will be joined by top-rated television host Sean Hannity at the show. Segments of Fox News Channel's Hannity & Colmes will be broadcast live from Mississippi concert.

'We are pleased to have this opportunity to work with Mr. Williams and continue efforts in assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina along the Mississippi Gulf Coast,' explained Pearl River Resort President, Chuck Miller. 'We continue to call on our associates and guests to keep helping our fellow residents of southern Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama during these difficult times.'

'When I got the offer to do this show I simply could not take money from the devastated folks in Mississippi, so I passed. Then the next morning I woke up and thought I will do that show and make a donation to help the local people,' says Hank Williams Jr. 'This show will be special and who knows what will happen or who will show up, but it will be special.'

Williams, a country music icon, made his first stage appearance at the age of eight using his father's name, songs and mannerisms. He debuted on the Grand Ole Opry at 11 and produced his first hit record at 14 with 'Long Gone Lonesome Blues.'

Since then Williams has become a household name with hits like, 'Born to Boogie,' 'A Country Boy Can Survive,' and 'All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.' In 1989 he won a Grammy for the duet with this father, 'There's a Tear in My Beer,' which he borrowed Hank Sr.'s vocals from a vinyl record. Of course football fans everywhere know Williams from the opening theme of ABC's Monday Night Football, which he has been associated with for 16 years.
