(FIRST NATIONAL RECORDS) - Bass player Paul Kochanski, states, "This is what Americana music is all about, the small towns and cities across the United States... These places are the heart and soul of Americana. We thought it would be great to give the newspapers of these towns a chance to review the CD and talk to members of the band directly, not having to rely on news service feeds or waiting until the band comes to a town near them." A five-man band out of Massachusetts, Swinging Steaks (www.swingingsteaks.com) are among the originators of the current roots rock/ alt.country movement. Playing together for 15 years, the band has released 5 CD's (on Capricorn Records and Thrust Records) prior to "Sunday Best".
