New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Luke Sital-Singh has returned with "Me & God," a whimsical tale of making acquaintances with the track's title character - otherworldly eccentricities and all - in an effort to feel out what belief looks like on his own terms. Approaching this weighty subject matter with trademark good-natured wit, the new original from Sital-Singh reminds audiences that the London-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter "could make even the bitterest of songs slip down smoothly" (The Guardian). Sital-Singh - who gracefully turned early buzz in a loaded BBC "Sound Of..." class alongside Sam Smith and FKA twigs into reverence as one of folk music's most respected craftsmen, has since shared stages with genre luminaries like Angus and Julia Stone, Martha Wainwright and The Staves...even recently delivering his own TED Talk on songwriting. His opening line - true to form - was an enthusiastic proclamation that "I love a depressing song!" delivered to laughs all around. "Me & God" carries that same amiable spirit in the face of calamity.

"I was brought up religious. I've long said goodbye to it, but I still find it interesting to write and think about," says Sital-Singh. "Do I believe? Should I believe? I'm an atheist, but there are many things I miss about those beliefs. It was cathartic to write."

Under The Radar calls "Me & God" a "poignant" track on which "Sital-Singh narrates his journey with empathy and wit": https://www.undertheradarmag.com/news/premiere_luke_sital_singh_shares_new_single_me_god

Penned shortly after Sital-Singh moved halfway across the world from London to Los Angeles just prior to the pandemic, "Me & God" found the typically-collaborative songwriter working in relative isolation and utilizing the craft to mine his innermost thoughts. Bringing those intimate explorations to life with the help of two new LA-based musical partners - his fellow British national Dan Croll and a rubber bridge guitar from the city's Old Style Guitar Shop - Sital-Singh emerged with what he describes as "my most personal record yet," which "Me & God" will be included on later this year. Before that, Sital-Singh and Croll (and the rubber bridge guitar) will bring the new music on a run of West Coast shows next month, and a full list of dates is below. Sital-Singh also recently shared "Blind Missiles," which CLASH called an "impressive...carefully finessed offering": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDjkOt3mwFI
