Shawn King to the Today Show, The View, CNN, and more!!!

NASHVILLE, TN. (Lofton Creek Records) - Shawn King, Lofton Creek recording artist, released her debut album 'In My Own Backyard' today, September 13th, and the album is available for purchase in stores nationwide.

King will make a special appearance with husband CNN's Larry King, on The Today Show September 19th, CNN's Showbiz Tonight on September 19th, The View September 21st, CNBC's The Big Idea With Donnie Deutsch on September 21st, and will continue her promotional efforts on the Tony Danza Show on September 22nd. All appearances will include a special performance by King.

Kicking off her media tour Sunday, September 18th, New Music Nashville will feature King on their 330 stations for several weeks in support of the album release.

'In My Own Backyard' has had great success at radio as one of the Top 5 Most Played Independent singles, so much in fact that Lofton Creek Records is releasing a shorter version of the single that runs at only 2:48, opposed to the current version that runs at 3:56. 'We are sending the shorter version of the single out to all the radio stations, and it will also be available on CDX 380,' says Lofton Creek President Mike Borchetta.
