NASHVILLE, TN (Lonestar Official Website/ www.lonestar.mu) - Lonestar, the band that has earned more No 1 songs than any other group this decade, will host an open house for their new album Coming Home with appearances on Good Morning America on September 13 and The View on September 16. The boys from Texas head to the big apple to perform their hit single 'You're Like Comin' Home' that is currently top 20 on the country singles charts.

With the release of their eighth album, Coming Home, on September 13, Lonestar marks their 10th year of recording albums. On their new CD, guitarist Michael Britt says, 'Ten years ago we were a baby act and making a record was like jumping off a cliff. We didn't know how we were going to land or what songs were going to hit. And it's still just like jumping off a cliff every time you put out a new album. It's the great unknown.' He continues, 'With this album, we were able to capture our live sound in a studio record. It sounds like what we do every night onstage when we're out on tour.'

The band was able to create a fresh, rockin' country sound that is similar to their energizing live concerts through their work with new producer, Justin Niebank. He encouraged the band members to rely less on studio musicians and play their own instruments to strengthen the overall live sound. Lonestar not only pushed themselves musically, but also lit their creative spark, producing an album that truly is a coming home.

Lonestar received a Country Music Association nomination earlier this week for Vocal Group of the Year, which prompted keyboardist Dean Sams to reflect, 'When I look back over the last 10 years, we as a band have accomplished so much. And individually, we've accomplished a lot. But I think one of the things I'm most proud of is the fact that out of all the success that we've had, we've been really blessed to sell a lot of records, have a lot of number-ones and play for a lot of fans, we've done it as a band, as a unit.'
