Higher Ground Hurricane Relief Concert

NEW YORK (Blue Note Records) - Jazz at Lincoln Center will host Higher Ground Hurricane Relief Concert Benefit for Victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The evening will feature New Orleans native son, Wynton Marsalis and many special celebrity guest artists and speakers. Many artists, entertainers and celebrities are mobilizing right now to participate in Higher Ground Hurricane Relief Concert, those confirmed thus far include Bill Cosby as Host for the evening. Performers scheduled are Peter Cincotta, McCoy Tyner, Abbey Lincoln, Arturo Sandoval, Paquito Di Rivera, and Cassandra Wilson
This benefit will take place Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 7:00pm at the Frederick P. Rose Hall- home of Jazz at Lincoln Center located on Broadway at 60th Street.

Tickets are available on Thursday, September 8th at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office located on Broadway at 60th Street on the ground floor.
