Madness in Music City At The World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge

NASHVILLE, TN. (Music City News Publishing/ www.tootsies.net) - Steve Smith, President/Owner of Tootsies' Orchid Lounge, Nashville Tennessee has announced MIDNIGHT MADNESS as an official World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge event. MIDNIGHT MADNESS (presented by Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and hosted by recording artist John Stone) was initially introduced earlier this summer on the evening of Tuesday, July 5, 2005. Over the last eight weeks notable country artists, celebrities, and stars from the television screen have made appearances on the MIDNIGHT MADNESS stage (including Kix Brooks, Hank Williams Jr., Montgomery Gentry, Clay Walker, John Corbett, Rob Schneider, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and more). Other recognizable faces that have walked through the door to play a part in the madness are Terri Clark, Mark Collie and Billy Currington.

Host John Stone (Tootsie's Records) shares his excitement in the event, 'Famous early customers like Kris Kristofferson, Faron Young, Willie Nelson, Tom T. Hall, Hank Cochran, Mel Tillis, Roger Miller, Webb Pierce, Waylon Jennings, and Patsy Cline would be pleased in the turn-out of songwriters and artists whom initially made their debut appearances on the stage at Tootsie's. We are hoping MIDNIGHT MADNESS will encourage today's country music stars to return for a visit to celebrate and pay tribute to the history of Music City, Nashville.'

MIDNIGHT MADNESS is held every Tuesday evening at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge beginning at 10:00PM and it goes till they close (2:00AM). The venue and its staff are contributing a portion of the proceeds (collected at each Tuesday night event) to All-For-The-Hall (Country Music Hall of Fame). Fans and friends of Tootsie's have an open invitation to come out to be part of the tradition—MIDNIGHT MADNESS—every Tuesday night, at Toostie's Orchid Lounge.
