NEWARK, NJ (Meridian Entertainment/ Warner Music Latin) - The universe has felt the tremor of Brick City representative LOOSE CANNON for a long time now since he originally emerged on the scene several years ago at Miami's How Can I Be Down music conference. 'I know that I possess all the components that make up a great emcee.' he says. Sounds pompous and a tad bit overzealous? Maybe…

On Tuesday September 13th, Loose Cannon will finally unleash the long-awaited and highly anticipated debut album, 'Who Do U Think U R?' on 6-5/KGB Records distributed by Warner Music Latin. The album features ten Loose Cannon originals with three skits as well as guest appearances by Terror Squad's Fat Joe and Tony Sunshine and fellow Brick City native, Rah Digga.' Who Do U Think U R?' also features production from Scott Storch (Lean Back), Nick 'Fury', Dame Grease, Sedeck Jean, and many more.

In 2000 Loose Cannon landed a feature in the Source Magazine's coveted 'Unsigned Hype' column and he's been on fire ever since. After getting noticed by Ruff Ryders CEO Wah Dean and his flagship artist, DMX, Loose Cannon soon appeared on several of DMX's albums, 'It's Dark and Hell is Hot' (1998), 'The Great Depression' (2002), as well as the soundtrack to 'Cradle to the Grave' (2003). It wasn't until Loose Cannon signed to DMX's label, Bloodline/Def Jam that things began to turn sour. He eventually bounced from X's label citing lack of support from the powers-that-be. Not to be outdone and with a lot to get off his chest, Loose Cannon released the controversy-laden mixtape aptly titled, 'The Loose Cannon Mixtape Album' selling an impressive 10,000 units out of the trunk.

Fast forward to 2005…the lead club single from the debut album, 'Take It Off' (featuring Fat Joe and Tony Sunshine) is currently burning up mixshows and charts around the country. Loose explores the concept of death in a gripping and thought-provoking fashion in the Scott Storch produced B-side, 'Almost Died' touching the hearts of the hardest of the hard rocks. His brand new music video – 'Who Do U think U R? 'video is currently being independently promoted nationally in over 40 markets via urban video shows. His mighty force is seemingly unstoppable!

'Who Do U Think U R' is a compelling collection of insightful rhymes, catchy hooks and fresh beats. You will surely remember the name Loose Cannon from beginning to end. For more info on Loose Cannon visit: www.myspace.com/65records
